The town of Piedrahita and its environment
The house is located in the historic old town of Piedrahita although it is still located in a quiet and peaceful place from which visitors can see the valley.
Very close to the town is the mountain of Peñanegra, a place where many championships related to paragliding have taken place and where you can practice other sports like hiking or biking, among others.
In the direction of Alba de Tormes you can visit the shrine of the Virgen de la Vega which is built on a late-Roman and Visigoth settlement. Besides all this, visitors can not miss the Palace of the Dukes of Alba, current school, the church of Santa Maria, the square of the town, the ruins of the Convent of Santo Domingo, etc.
